Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Intensivist to join the dedicated ICU team at a Reputed Hospital in Bihar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Anesthesia and substantial experience in Intensive Care. You will play a critical role in managing critically ill patients, ensuring optimal care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality medical support in the ICU.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU, ensuring timely interventions and continuous monitoring.
- Oversee all aspects of ICU patient care, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and invasive procedures.
- Collaborate with specialists such as surgeons, cardiologists, and anesthesiologists to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
- Lead resuscitation efforts and ensure patient stability during critical conditions.
- Supervise and mentor ICU staff, including nurses, junior doctors, and medical trainees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ICU records documenting patient status and treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor infection control protocols to minimize risks to critically ill patients.
- Stay updated with advancements in intensive care medicine and contribute to continuous improvement in ICU care standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- MD in Anesthesia with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in ICU or similar critical care settings.
- Strong expertise in ICU protocols, critical care management, and emergency procedures.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with an emphasis on quality outcomes.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
