Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Sales & Marketing Specialist with strong expertise in embedded systems, semiconductor solutions, Linux BSP, device drivers, firmware, and technical sales.

The ideal candidate will combine deep embedded engineering knowledge with proven experience in technical sales, FAE (Field Application Engineering), product marketing, and business development within the semiconductor or embedded software industry.

This role involves owning the full technical sales cycle, driving design-wins, influencing product architecture decisions, and positioning advanced embedded solutions across automotive, IoT, industrial automation, and imaging domains.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales & Business Development – Embedded & Semiconductor Solutions

  • Own the complete technical sales lifecycle for embedded software and semiconductor solutions.
  • Drive sales for:
    • Linux BSP customization
    • Linux device drivers
    • Firmware development
    • Camera & imaging drivers
    • WLAN / Wi-Fi stacks
    • BIOS / UEFI
    • QNX-based embedded platforms
  • Understand customer product architectures and secure design wins through strong technical positioning.
  • Engage with design engineers, solution architects, and product teams to propose optimized embedded solutions.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Technical Marketing & Product Positioning – Embedded Platforms

  • Develop impactful technical marketing collateral, including:
    • Technical presentations
    • Solution briefs
    • Product demos
    • Competitive analysis documents
  • Highlight strengths in:
    • Linux Kernel & BSP customization
    • Camera and Imaging Driver Stacks
    • QNX-based Embedded Solutions
    • Connectivity Stacks (Wi-Fi / WLAN)
    • Firmware & Board Bring-up
    • BIOS / UEFI Configuration
  • Support go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Conduct market research in emerging domains such as:
    • Automotive ADAS imaging
    • Edge computing
    • IoT connectivity platforms

Customer & Partner Engagement – OEM & Tier-1 Ecosystem

  • Act as the primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams.
  • Lead:
    • Technical workshops
    • Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
    • Driver integration demos
    • Board bring-up sessions
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering inputs.
  • Build strategic relationships with:
    • OEMs
    • Tier-1 suppliers
    • ODMs
    • Chipset partners
    • Embedded ecosystem stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, product management, leadership, and supply chain teams.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market insights.
  • Support roadmap planning and product differentiation strategies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Required Technical Skillset (Market-Aligned)

Core Embedded Engineering Expertise

  • Linux BSP development & board bring-up
  • Linux device driver development (I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, GPIO, MIPI)
  • Camera / Imaging driver development (ISP tuning, MIPI-CSI, sensor integration)
  • QNX BSP and driver development
  • Firmware development (RTOS, bare-metal, bootloaders)
  • WLAN / Wi-Fi driver stack development (802.11 protocols, coexistence, testing)
  • BIOS / UEFI development or configuration
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • SoC architecture
    • Embedded hardware interfaces
    • Memory subsystems

Sales & Marketing Competencies

  • Experience in:
    • Technical sales
    • Field Application Engineering (FAE)
    • Product marketing
    • Business development (Semiconductor / Embedded Software)
  • Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and securing design wins.
  • Experience in:
    • Proposal creation
    • Pricing strategy discussions
    • Customer negotiations

Tools & Platforms

Hands-on experience with:

  • Git, Gerrit, Jira
  • Kernel debugging tools (GDB, Lauterbach, JTAG)
  • Networking tools (Wireshark, iPerf)
  • Imaging tools (Sensor tuning suites, test frameworks)
  • CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot)

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
    • Electronics
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Or related technical discipline
  • 6–8 years of experience in:
    • Embedded engineering
    • Technical sales / FAE / Product marketing roles
  • Strong market awareness in:
    • Automotive
    • IoT
    • Industrial automation
    • Imaging technologies
