Job Summary
We are hiring on behalf of our partner organization for the role of Business Development Manager – IoT, AI & Software Solutions. The role requires a dynamic and results-oriented professional with proven experience in acquiring large-scale IT projects across IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Software Development domains, and Staff Augmentation services.
Key Responsibilities
Business Acquisition & Enterprise IT Sales
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in IoT, AI/ML, SaaS, DevOps, Cloud Computing, and Software Development
- Drive high-value IT sales through strategic prospecting, networking, and consultative selling
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles for enterprise technology projects
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise clients
- Understand client technology challenges and propose tailored AI, IoT, and software solutions
- Position Sentius as a trusted technology partner
- Staff Augmentation & Talent Solutions: Identify client needs for IT staffing and
- resource augmentation.
Proposal & RFP Management
- Lead preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and Statements of Work (SoWs)
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams, solution architects, and technical experts
- Deliver competitive, value-driven proposals aligned with client objectives
Market Expansion & Growth Strategy
- Identify and penetrate new industry verticals and geographic markets
- Expand the company’s footprint in emerging technology domains
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new offerings
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Build alliances with technology vendors and ecosystem partners
- Develop joint go-to-market strategies to enhance the solution portfolio
- Strengthen partner-led revenue channels
Technical & Delivery Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering and product teams
- Support conceptualization and pitching of POCs, prototypes, and enterprise integrations
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery
Revenue Growth & Sales Planning
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets
- Improve client retention and maximize profitability
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Research IoT, AI, Cloud, and Enterprise Software trends
- Analyze competitors and identify emerging opportunities
- Provide strategic insights to leadership
Brand Representation
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, technology expos, and trade events
- Enhance brand visibility and thought leadership in the IT ecosystem
Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Track KPIs, maintain CRM accuracy, and provide periodic performance reports
- Drive data-backed decision-making for business growth
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in IT Sales / Business Development and staff augmentation services
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IoT, AI/ML, or Enterprise Software Solutions
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals (₹30–50 Lakhs+)
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- Strong network with enterprise decision-makers and technology leaders
- Deep understanding of:
- IoT platforms & edge devices
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning solutions
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- SaaS platforms & DevOps ecosystems
- Enterprise software architecture
- Experience selling:
- Custom software development projects

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
